The first application to this year’s World Championships arrived already in April and, interestingly enough, it came from the team that will have one of the longest journeys to make to Nymburk. But no distance is too long for the US team when it comes to futnet and its top international event.
For the first time in the history of World Futnet Championships, all the matches will be webstreamed so even if you cannot be present in Nymburk, you do not have to miss a single match of your team! And if you cannot watch it live, do not worry, because all the matches will be recorded and stored for on-demand viewing as well. There is no cost involved for live webstreaming or on-demand viewing.
As of 30 June, sixteen countries have applied to participate in the World Championships. Following the requests by some national associations that need some more time to complete the application process, UNIF Technical Committee has decided to extend the deadline for applications until 20 July.
